What was most challenging was having the feelings of not fitting in or having the voice to change the situation. Donovan found his voice after attending a large Boy’s school in Kingston, Jamaica. With exposure to the arts, great mentors, and a resilient family, Donovan was prepared to migrate to the United States and pursue his dreams to change the world.

After arriving in Indiana, Donovan studied and led at the highest level in Business and the Nonprofit arenas. This forced him to look upward, outward, and inward to pursue greater opportunities that pushed him, stretched him, and caused him to lead with brokenness, failures, and resilience paving the way to remarkable authenticity. Donovan states,

“whatever has been accomplished in my life came through the doors of faith, failures, and followership.”

Donovan is committed to growing as a leader and credits his wife and family for pushing him and supporting him to the various stages and arenas where opportunities, dreams, and major accomplishments become a reality for many.

After many years of serving as a Nonprofit CEO with excellence, he realized that lessons learned must be shared and passed on to the next generation.
